“There has got to be a better way“.
This is apparently the conversation between 2 traveling salesmen Roger and Denis one night in regional NSW. Most likely in a pub after a day of traveling and selling,
Late in 1970 Roger and Denis whom were mates, had, had enough of the door to door, town to town selling for a national insurance provider.
Roger and Dennis were 2 door to door salesmen selling insurance and driving throughout the state of NSW from late 1960’s until January 1971. Apparently a conversation along the tines of there has got to be a better way.
Both Roger and Denis believed that they were helping families with protection (although financial ) if the unexpected did happen and we do know that unexpected things happen. As it turned out this was to be the start of a new partnership and a new business venture.
January 1971 Roden Security Services was started and the head office was the lounge room in Georges Hall NSW . The name Roden is part of Rogers and Denis’s name
Introducing Christopher Hodge
Christopher is the father to 3 boys and on weekends patrols the beaches of Bate Bay as a active member of the Cronulla Surf Lifesaving Club.
What excites me now is the rapid enhancements in technology and how this supports our offering and also our business. Across our business I still enjoy jumping in a patrol car and providing a patrol service and getting across some of our clients. This allows me to use our systems and services and to see if there is a batter way to patrol and protect.
